According to the 2022 annual survey report by the National Tax Agency of Japan, the amounts of unreported income by type of individual businesses are as follows:
3rd Place: Breeders
The average amount of unreported income per tax audit case was 21,360,000 yen, and the additional tax liability per case was 5,180,000 yen.
2nd Place: System Engineers
The average amount of unreported income per tax audit case was 21,500,000 yen, and the additional tax liability per case was 5,190,000 yen.
1st Place: Management Consultants
The average amount of unreported income per tax audit case was 22,660,000 yen, and the additional tax liability per case was 6,110,000 yen.
