This blog may help if you are unclear about the overview of their managed corporations.
Regarding the increasing number of foreign managers in Japan, I will provide an overview based on the 2021 survey by the Japan Finance Corporation.
Number of Employees
Around 40% of the companies they manage, including the proprietors, have 4 or fewer employees. About 25% have between 5 and 9 employees, 15% have between 10 and 19 employees, another 15% have between 20 and 49 employees, and 7% have more than 49 employees.
Industries
The predominant industry is wholesale, at 39%. This is notably high, especially when compared to the approximate 6% among Japanese small businesses, likely due to their involvement in import and export businesses. The information technology industry accounts for about 14%, followed closely by retail and manufacturing at roughly 11% each.
